Whenever I read on the 3rd or 4th floors of the library, my eyes get a lot of extra strain which I don't get while reading in other places for prolonged periods of time.

I've heard that some kinds of light bulbs are bad for eyes. I'm curious what kind of bulbs the library uses, and if its ok to turn some of the lights off during the day when enough light is coming through the windows.
