Staplers do take a pounding. At the Media Desk we have gone through a couple every quarter until recently trying out an electric stapler which seems to be holding its own. Additionally paper punches and other sorts of supplies are available on the supply table at the south end of the Skybridge - Reference and Info Desk side.
As for the other labs around campus... you'll need to take that up with ATUS as they manage most of those labs.
Yes! I agree - staplers should be much more plentiful and accessible in the library and computer labs. There used to be more in the past, what happened to them?
not that i don't mind tracking those things down...but when i'm late to class, it'd be nice to have them relatively nearby. and those automatic staplers are a joke. they never work, and when they do, the staple somehow usually ends up in the middle of the page, rendering my papers completely useless.
