As a busy student, I often don't have time to be in the library during the day. Since I can't study in my distracting dorm room, I usually get to the library at about 9pm to study. Three hours later, it closes. I would really appreciate it if an area of the library was kept open 24 hours. Perhaps one floor of Haggard could be open. Also, during dead week and finals week, I think that all of Haggard should be open 24 hours. I know many of my friends at other colleges have library space open to them at all hours and I feel that the limited hours that our library has is a disadvantage to me as a student. I love Western, and I want it to be a school that attracts wonderful people and wonderful students and I believe that extended library hours will make this school more attractive to those applicants. Thank you for giving students a space to voice their opinions. I appreciate that you want our input. Other than the hours, the library is one of my favorite places on campus! Thank you for doing such a good job!
