Your ideas. Your library.
Alright – so this is it Western. “14 Days to Have Your Say.”
What’s it all about?
Well The Western Libraries wants to hear from you.
We want to hear the things you love about library. What you hate about the library. And what you think the library ought to be giving you but isn’t. We want to hear what’s on your mind – the good, the bad and what you dream we should be.
Why are we asking now? The Western Libraries is at a sort of threshold. On June first the new Dean of Libraries starts his job and he arrives here with open eyes and open ears - so this is your chance to grab his attention. Clean slate so to speak.
Yeah, you’re right we can’t guarantee that you’ll get exactly what you ask for - but we can guarantee that any serious idea will be heard and considered as the library plans its future. And that means you can make a difference in where your library is headed.
Anything might be possible.
So, what’ll it be? Longer video checkouts? Free scaning stations in the stacks? Lunchtime concerts in the Skybridge? South campus return boxes? Textbooks on reserve? 24-hour study lounge with coffee bar?
We don’t know. You gonna to have to tell us!
OK.
Video’s over.
Clock’s ticking.
Start writing Western.
You've got 14 days.
