Something I always found weird is that we can print a couple hundred pages per quarter, for free, but if we want to use a copy machine we have to pay out of pocket every time. Are copier ink and paper just that much more expensive than printer ink and paper?

Now, you can get around this, by using a scanner to copy something onto a computer, and then printing it out, for free. The only problem is, that there's a lack of scanners inside the library. I only know of one, and it's hooked up to a very old, slow computer; so copying and printing one pae can take up to 10 minutes.
