It is really frustrating to have such strict limitations placed upon how many materials can be borrowed from summit. While I may only be an undergrad I have had numerous experiences while conducting research for my upper division courses where our library simply does not cut it where specialized items are concerned which meant that the bulk of my materials were found elsewhere... I ended up having my professor request materials for me since there are no such restrictions placed upon them.

I would like a directory of the resourceful sites students have access to, such as SpringerLink.com. I would also like to know how to request that the school purchase more access to sites like these. There has been some occasions where I could not access the particular article through the library's search engine.

Its nice that the library provides the students with an online Internet Journal database. The database is very much appreciated, but it does not help when the journal articles that one wants (which is most of them) are not available online most of the time and the only way to get them is to request them through ILLIAD. The library pays an extra $30 for it, even if its an electronical copy that is being sent by another library. Wouldn't it be more efficient for the library to have its online access to it?
